How Do I Broadcast Messages with Google Assistant?

Note: In order to broadcast messages to a speaker in a specific room or multiple speakers within a residence, your device and speakers must be connected to the same wi-fi network. You will need at least one external speaker.


To broadcast message to all connected speakers:
Say “OK Google, Broadcast <your own message>”

Example:
"OK Google, Broadcast, breakfast is ready”

To broadcast message to a specific room or speakers:
Say “OK Google, Broadcast to <room name/device name>  <your own message>"

Example:
“OK Google, Broadcast to bedroom, breakfast is ready”

Note:
You can use the commands “shout,” “tell everyone” or “announce” instead of “broadcast.”
