You can use a Swifty USB Interface Switch Holder for autoscanning. This switch does not require a Bluetooth connection and works only with the Autoscanaccess method.
The Swifty requires the use of a Micro USB On-The-Go Adapter. A Micro USB On-The-Go Adapter has been included in the Swifty kit and also with the Tobii Dynavox T10 at the time of purchase.
1. Set up the Swifty USB Interface Switch Holder
The Swifty USB Interface Switch Holder has four white DIP switches on the side opposite its name. Confirm that those DIP switches are set as listed below. If necessary, use one end of a paper clip to adjust the DIP switches.
Set the Dip switches to the following configuration.
- ON (up)
- OFF (down)
- ON (up)
- ON (up)
2. Insert the Micro USB OTG Adapter into the micro USB port on your T10.
3. Connect the Swifty to the Micro USB OTG Adapter. Both the red and green LED lights on the Swifty will light up when the Swifty is first connected. Both LEDs will turn off after the T10 recognizes the Swifty.
4. Connect your switch to the jack on the Swifty.
5. Set your Access Method to Autoscan:
a. Select the Settings button in the Toolbar .
Note: If the Toolbar is hidden, first select the Modify Button

at the top right corner of your screen. Then select
Settings.
b. Select
Access Method from the Settings menu. The
Access Settings menu will open.
c. Select
Scanning.
d. Select the blue
Settingsbutton.

e. Select
1 Switch Autoscan next to Scan Type.

Select the blue Settings button to set the scan speed then select the green OK button to confirm. g. select the green
Donebutton at the top right corner of the screen.
h. select
Scanning Tab i. Open the options for
switch port 1 and select
Enter.

j. select the green
Donebutton twice and then
Backto exit the Settings Menu.
