Do I need to charge both my Eyemobile Plus and my Surface Pro Tablet Separately?

Yes, both the surface pro tablet and the EyeMobile Plus should be charged through their own separate power cables. 

Note:  When the EyeMobile Plus battery is almost drained it will continue to work by using power that is left in the surface pro tablet battery until both batteries die simultaneously to maximize the usage time.
