Launch Apple Shortcuts from TD Snap® (iPadOS only) version 1.37 and above

You can launch Shortcuts from TD Snap® using the Launch Application action.

1. Select the Edit button.

2. Select the button you would like to use to launch the Shortcuts app.

3. Select Add Action.

4. Select Launch Application. Select the shortcuts icon.

Option 1: If you do not add any advanced parameters, the action will launch the Shortcuts App, where you can choose the shortcut that you would like to run.

Option 2: Select Advanced, then in the Command Line Arguments field specify the shortcut to run and (optionally) input and text parameters. name=[name]&input=[input]&text=[text] name: The name of the shortcut to run. input (optional): The initial input into the shortcut. There are two input options: a text string or the word clipboard. When the input value is a text string, that text is used. When the input value is clipboard, the contents of the Clipboard are used. text (optional): If input is set to text, then value of the text parameter is passed as input to the shortcut. If input is set to clipboard, then this parameter is ignored.

For example, if you want to run the shortcut Word of the Day, you will add the following in the Command Line Arguments: name=Word of the Day

Tip: You can program your shortcuts to go back to TD Snap® automatically after they run. In the Shortcuts app, edit the shortcut and add the Open App action to the end of the actions list. Tap the App variable in the action and choose TD Snap®.
