How can I hide Cortana from the Windows 10 taskbar?

Here are the steps on removing Cortana from the taskbar:

1. Right click anywhere in an open area on the taskbar
2. When the menu appears click on Cortana to expand your available options
3. Click hidden which will remove cortana from the taskbar
