Descripción Join Stacie Carroll from the Toronto District School Board as she explores the intersection of the Science of Reading and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)**. This session will focus on practical, classroom-tested strategies to support literacy skill development for students who use AAC. Stacie will share activities and approaches that have proven successful in her own classroom, offering attendees actionable ideas to implement immediately. Tobii Dynavox products will be highlighted in this session. This session is part of a Tobii Dynavox Canadian Fall Webinar Series. The last 30 minutes of this presentation will be a Tobii Dynavox Resource Roundup - highlighting several TD resources to help you work on literacy skill development with AAC users. Stacie Carroll bio: Stacie Carroll is a teacher with the Toronto District School Board with over 25 years of experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, as well as students with complex medical and physical needs. Her areas of interest in education include literacy instruction and communication using all forms of Alternative and Augmentative Communication. **This is a playback of a recorded session.
